Hello my dear fellows!
We have learned about podcasts last week in our Educational Technologies course. Therefore, I decided to talk about podcast and my experience of making a podcast.
First of all, let's talk about what podcast is. Podcast is an audio file that can be used for various purposes. We can download podcasts. Hence, we can listen to them everywhere, whenever we want! So, we can use it for educational purposes. Teachers can record themselves or make their students record it.
In this class our teacher has wanted us to make a podcast. She has offered us 4 kinds of podcast and made us choose it. Me and my friend Sude chosen creating a Vox-pop. In this one, we decided what should be our question and then ask 10 people for their opinions. Our question was "If you could reincarnate as any animal what would it be?" and we realized that everyone thinks differently. Every person we asked explained for good reasons.
I'd like to show you the results:
After making the opening speech with Sude, we asked our friends our question and recorded it. I really had fun. It was also nice to hear people's approaches and opinions. I definitely use it in the future with my students. Therefore, my students will both learn to use podcasts and show their creativity. I strongly recommend you to use it with your students.
