Hello my dear fellows,
Today, I'd like to present a wall board known as "Padlet." Padlets are online board in which students and teachers can work collaboratively. Multiple people can use Padlet, and these users can post their thoughts on a certain issue on this wall. Users may also post links, videos, and photographs relating to their topic on the wall.
Here is the logo of the wall board:
You can find this image here. Our teacher has wanted us to make a wall on padlet in groups. So I thought like why not share this experience with you.
First let me introduce you my friends in group: Sude Özer, Selin Gülhan Korkusuz, Ece Keskin.
Before we start to make our padlet, we have chosen the topic out of several topics given by our teacher. Our subject is "air pollution," which, as you are all aware, is a big problem and will continue if essential action is not done.
In the wall, we have created three columns and we have named these as WHAT WE KNOW, WHAT TO KNOW and WHAT WE LEARNED respectively. In first column, we have been wanted to write what do we know about the air pollution; in the second one, we have written what do we want to know about it and in the last one we have written the answers to questions in the second column.
Now, let’s talk about my padlet experience. Our teacher has wanted us to work collaboratively. I first opened a new padlet wall, chose the background and then wrote ”what we know”. My friends added some informations on it too. We consequently completed the topic collaboratively.
In my opinion, it was really beneficial and will continue to be so. We have read articles, learnt how to use Padlet, and learned a lot about air pollution in order to find answers to our questions. Considering 21st-century learning, Padlet is very creative and is very useful for students to work collaboratively. I am convinced that I will use this wall board with my students in the future.
My dear fellows, it was all for today.
Thank you for reading and hope to see you in my next post.
